Did you know Easter is a full 15 days earlier this year? That’s this Sunday! Right? Easter baskets, Easter dinner, friends and family usually requires a libation or two. Well Anchorage Wine House just received the 2013 Finca Decero Mini Ediciones Petit Verdot. This is some uber delicious juice! Talk about dark this stuff is black no light getting through this one. The nose is apparent and full with big blue fruits and candied spice. The mouth is richly textured with pulpy blue fruits and beautiful tannin. This rich and generous wine out paces most Cabernets. An ooh and aah wine to be sure.
Decero means from scratch. This vineyard and winery were purpose built to produce the highest quality wine in the world.

Petit Verdot is one of the components in Bordeaux and is rarely seen on it’s own.
