Tasting and Dinner with Unibroue Ales at Suite 100

Dear Oenophile

For the past 25 years Unibroue has been crafting honest Belgian style beers. These are true bottle conditioned Ales. They are made like champagne except the yeast is not removed. This leaves them cloudy and naturally fizzy. All their beers age like wine some up to 10 years. A wide range is produced from pale gold to inky black. Alcohols run from a moderate 5% ABV to a mouth filling 10.5% ABV. No weak sisters here. 25 years ago when the craft market was heating up Unibroue established it’s nich by producing Belgian Abby style ales. Back then very very few North American’s were making bottled conditioned beers. Today they are everywhere but Unibroue lead the way.

On Wednsday January 14th 6:00pm we will meet at Suite 100 where once again Chef Kelly will work his magic. Pricing will be $60.00 per person. Reservations may be made by calling 907 677 9050 or by emailing mike@anchoragewinehouse.com.
