Dear Oenophile
We just tasted the gorgeous 2011 Parcel 23 from Finca Constancia. This is our kinda juice! At 100% Tempranillo, the wine is opaque with a cranberry-purple rim. The nose is plumy with deep blue-black fruits and sweet spice. A fat rich mouth is pallet coating and the deep blueberry fruits are chin dribbling good! A touch of woody spice and light grained tannin complete the picture. Finca Constancia is located in Toledo in the center of Spain. It was developed by Gonzales Byass owners of Beronia and Tio Pepe among other things. This is a single vineyard site. There are 70 plots in 193 hectares of which Parcela 23 gets its own bottling. The 2011 vintage was hot and dry. Excellent for reds. Available at all locations. List Price $22.99Your Price $17.99 Thank You |
