Steele Tasting and Dinner at Little Italy

Introducing yet another fabulous dinner and tasting with Little Italy! This time it’s the awesome wines of Jed Steele. The Steele winery is very dialed in. Jed makes about 42 different wines. That is herculean! Jed started with Joseph Swan, graduated Masters at UC Davis, worked ten years at Edmeads, worked the first nine vintages of Kendall Jackson, and then, he started Steele Vineyards and Winery. Steele wines are produced from vineyards up and down the coast, Mendocino to Santa Barbara.

We will taste six wines. Now Jed is a Zinfandel lover from way back. Can you say Edmeads? We’ll have Zin’s from two vineyards, Catfish and Pacini. Our Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Red Hills in Lake County. The Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc come from Santa Barbara. Lastly the Chardonnay is a California appellation so that Jed can blend for the effect he is looking for. This is a right tasty line up and quite fitting for the big flavors over at Little Italy.

The Particulars: Little Italy, Wednesday, March 7th, 7:00 PM, $65.00 per reservation, 36 seats are available.

Cheers!
