White Oak Vineyards Dinner & Tasting Wednesday Feb 22nd 7 pm Little Italy

Well I really got behind the eight ball on this one but thought we should give it a try. On Wednesday Feb 22nd at 7pm Anchorage Wine House will conduct a tasting and dinner with the owner of White Oak Vineyards Bill Meyers. We will be back at our favorite place Little Italy in their private dining room. Tariff on this one will be $50 per person gratuity inclusive.

Bill used to be a General Contractor and Salmon fisherman up here during the Seventies.  Being a Californian he returned to the Golden State and now owns White Oak Cellars in Sonoma. With partners Bill was able to expand to 750 acres. His Sauvignon Blanc’s, Chardonnay’s, Syrah’s, Cabernet’s, and Merlot’s regularly receive 90 points.

The tasting will include olive oil from the estate and port that is only sold at the winery. Bill is also bringing up magnums of 2005 to pour at the event. That should be killer! Also on the slate are the Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Syrah.

PJ, Akis and the gang are working on the menu. Now you know they love to do this kind of thing so I’m sure we will be stuffed.

Cheers & Thank You!
